Churchyards Do you look after a grave in this or another churchyard? You will (or should) be aware that there are rules about the placement of flowers, wreaths etc. The Chancellor does allow poppies to be placed for a few days at Remembrance time; wreaths at Christmas, and wreaths at the anniversary of death, for a limited period of two weeks. It is your responsibility to clear the dead flowers etc at the end of the period. Failure to do so could result in withdrawal in the privilege, as the churchyard must be kept tidy.

The Notice (November issue)  is now available from your wardens.

The Crouch Valley Courier deadline will be on November 19th (the week after Remembrance) - please contribute items or photos by 5p.m. that day.

Authorised Lay Pioneer course will start Feb. 2018, or can be pushed back to Oct. 2018 if numbers require. Forms and information from Julie Clay  - julieclay@thegoodshepherd.co.uk.
